Christmas Gift

Morning peeps

I had a very long evening last night, we took my cat up to a walk in vets because I thought it would be better without having to book an appointment, how wrong was I.  It took us half an hour to drive there and then waited over 2 hours to see someone.

I was just about to take him home when we got called in.  It looks like he has an upset tummy, so he is now on medication.  Poor thing, he had messed in his box by the time we got up there, so was not in the best of moods, I felt so guity because I couldn't get him out to clean him up until we were called in.

Anyway, I didn't get any time to finish this card off until this morning.  The digital stamp is called Gift from The East Wind and it has been coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.  I have also paper pieced her dress with digital patterened paper.

Other materials used are:

White card stock
Digital patterned paper

Yellow Mermaid

Evening peeps

Today has been a very sad day for me, I have had to come to the decision that putting my cat to sleep is the best thing for him and me.  I have had him for 12 years, ever since he was a kitten, but over the past few months, he has been starting to look old and has not been hisself.  The decision had to be made after I got up this morning to mess everywhere down stairs, this is not the first time.  I'm off to the vets with him tomorrow to see what they say is wrong.

Anyway, as always, a bit of crafting to take my mind off of things.  The digital stamp on this card is called Mermaid Miranda from Tiddly Inks and it has been coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.  I have also used a free fish digital stamp from Opal Manor.

The Show Dance

Evening peeps

Bang goes my peaceful week off from work.  My son rang yesterday to tell me that he was coming home and he had picked up some shifts in the supermarket I work in.  This means it will be picking up after him, arguing over what to watch on the television and worst of all, hearing about work when all I want to do is get away from the place for the week.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have him home, it just would have been better on a week that I was working.

Anyway, this card is the second of an order from a regular customer of mine.  The digital stamp is called Material World from Scrapper's Delight and it has been coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.

Other materials used are:

White card stock
Digital patterned paper
Double sided tape
Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry Distress ink pad
Crealies Crea-Nest-Lies XXL No. 23 die set

Argentine Tango

Morning peeps

I had an e-mail from a regular customer at the start of the week asking if I could make her two 70th Birthday cards by Friday.  I had to say no because of the hours I have been doing at working, which upset me because she always comes to me for her cards.  Anyway, thankfully, she is now not seeing her Mum until Sunday, so I have been able to make them for her.

Her Mum loves Strictly Coming Dancing, so this has been the theme for both cards.  For the first one, she asked for something a bit more sassy, so I have gone with more of an Argentine Tango feel.  The digital stamp is called Dance from Mari Digis and it has been coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.

Other materials used are:

White card stock
Teal card stock
Digital patterned papers
Tattered Lace Chandelier die
Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers Distress ink pad
Teal ribbon

A Musical Birthday

Afternoon peeps

I have been spoiled rotten this week.  Everything my Mum doesn't want any more she passes onto me and I'm not lying when I say that everything is like new, she has always taken good care of her belongings.  This week I have been given a steamer which she has only used once and then yesterday, she turned up with her double bed and mattress, the mattress alone cost her £400.  This is at just right time, as my mattress really needs replacing.

Anyway, I have made a male theme card this afternoon.  The digital stamp is called Music Director from The Paper Shelter and it has been coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.

Other materials used are:

White card stock
Black card stock
Digital patterned paper
Inkylicious Musical Melody stamp
Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad
